About Us
Natasha Soliman
As a midwife I strive to ensure a holistic approach taking into account the physiological and psycho-social event that pregnancy and childbirth really is. I have been privileged enough to observe birth in busy London hospitals but also much further afield, having worked in East Africa and India. No matter where you are in the world women and their families deserve personalised, compassionate and respectful midwifery care.
Having worked as a Senior Midwife for a vulnerable women’s team I have gained an incredible amount of knowledge and experience working with mental health conditions and women with a history of trauma and abuse. My vast experience within the NHS has impacted me in both positive and negative ways and it is that thought that has led me to set up as an independent midwife so I can ensure I can provide more of the positives for women as they journey through pregnancy and childbirth.
On my midwifery journey I have developed different habits, good and bad. I have a sweet tooth that I claim to offset with running and swimming. My love of music and collecting records see me through the days – I have a record for every mood!

I am passionate about supporting women’s choice during childbirth. I have worked for the NHS for several years, predominately in busy London teaching hospitals, and I have worked abroad in both Australia and New Zealand. My time spent working on both NHS labour wards and midwifery-led units has given me a wealth of experience.
I decided to make the move into independent midwifery so I can provide care to women and their families based on the best available evidence and care that respects women as the ultimate decision makers. My hope is that one day, every single woman and birthing person will have a birth experience they can look back on and know they were truly supported and had their decisions respected – regardless of the type of the birth they had or if it went to plan. Women & birthing people are powerful and, in my eyes, nothing is more incredible than growing, birthing and raising a new human.
I gave birth to my twin boys in July 2024 and they keep me very busy, but in the odd spare moment I get, I love swimming in the sea!
